Creative Peninsula Launch Night

Join us to celebrate the launch of Creative Peninsula 2023 with an Opening Reception for the exhibition at Ards Arts Centre with speeches and refreshments from 6.15pm and a talk and demonstration by visiting Finnish exchange artist Dr Pirjo Seddiki at 7pm on predicting colour trends.

The colours around us are telling stories and in our manmade environment have meanings rooted in the societies and cultures. Where do these colours come from and how the color trends are formed? Understanding the background is increasingly as significant as the colors themselves. The presentation is opening up the processes behind the colour forecasting.
